The Gardening Tutor Story

Becoming The Gardening Tutor happened after I graduated from college with a degree in Landscape Management. Although I could have become a contractor that did not appeal to me. I love to teach and witness people learning new things. It's magical!

As I drove around my community, I kept seeing  gardens that had been installed by contractors or by the homeowners themselves where, in mere weeks, most of the plants looked sad and were not thriving.  I thought, "People just need a little one-on-one tutoring to know what to do with their plants ". And in 2007, The Gardening Tutor was born!
